The Other Barney

barney_stick.jpg

Barney was born in Alaska on 10-1-92, and his early weeks under Bush I were peaceful. Things took a downturn when Clinton came into office in 1993. The presidential fecklessness led his family to thoughtlessly dump Barney and Chassey, his late sister, off at a vet's office.

Adopted in 1997. Barney and Chassey were great hikers, in the Chugach Mountains, the Alaska Range, and the White Mountains. They enjoyed swimming in the Yukon River, Tanana River, and the North Pacific.

Now living in the swing state of Ohio!

Barney and Chassey were overjoyed when Pres. Bush won the 2000 election, they favor private initiatives in stick-throwing, carrot munching, and pizza crust catching.

Chassey passed over to the Summerlands in March, after 14 years of a great life. Barney is slowing down on the trails, but he is still a keen stick retriever and swimmer in the muddier, warmer Ohio streams.
