Comments: A Kiplingesque Salute!

Yeah, well, others have a completely f***ing different opinion of Colorado's "commie" Republicans and their "Stalinist tactics" which "stole delegates" from the only real American in the race, Donald f***ing Trump.

Seriously, if you read the comment thread here it is a complete s*** storm, stoked by none other than Matt Drudge.

I want to comment, "Donald, do you know the difference between an election and a party nomination? Read before you tweet." And maybe a salutary "asshole" just to make an effort to speak the native tongue. But my twitter account is perfectly happy not being hacked, thank you very much.

Colorado's assembly was pleasant and productive. Cleveland is going to be the seventh level of hell.

My first hint was when a friend PMed me from overseas:

So is there a reliable summary of what happened in colorado yesterday? I have not been paying attention to politics at all this week--an experiment that has proven to have improved my mood--but I noticed on facebook this huge charge that democracy was destroyed by GOP insiders in CO.

And exactly one grumpy Trumpy Facebook friend.

While we prepare for "Hell in Cleveland World Tour 2016!" may I heartily recommend Karl Rove's book on the 1896 Election [Review Corner]. Read it and send a copy to Trump's new chief.

And I also sent a link to Ari Armstrong's measured piece.

I couldn't resist, and made some tweets on the topic. See the #3src hashtag widget.

Indeed; a hearty Huzzah! to the CO GOP for skunking Trump (and so much more, Col. Glenn says). I now will feel much better about my role as PCP. I liked George Will's take on the 'stolen' whinge from The Donald:

well, he's always had a poor grasp on property rights, so this statement shows he's consistent!
I note that the invite for BoCo GOP this Thursday shows one Gregory Rinard: is he known to any of us?

Yes.

AAAAnd, yes.

Indeed; I introduced myself and traded cards!

Did he admit to knowing us?
