Happy New Year.

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed a dearth of Happy New Years wishes so far in 2009.

Shouldn't we be all full of hope and change?

... and optimistic?

A new era?

Dawning of the age of aquarius or something?

Or have we just buckled down for the worst year evah (tm)?
