Sure, the players play hungrier, but the combination of cheap hot dogs, cheap beer, cheap seats and intra-inning horseplay makes it a great time. But even more importantly are the giveaways. And the Altoona Curve (so named for the famous curve) have topped everyone.
The giveaways are pretty standard ballpark fare, except of course the lukewarm coffee.
